Description

A swimmer in warm coral tones glides through crystalline turquoise waters, suspended between the bright surface above and a shadowy underwater realm populated by fish and coral formations below. The composition uses layered bands of color and simplified forms to create a meditative scene that captures both the freedom of open water and the quiet mystery of the depths. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

Care

  • Remove the pillow cover using the concealed zipper
  • Wash the cover separately in cold water with gentle detergent
  • Tumble dry on low heat or air dry or lay flat to dry
  • Do not wash the faux down insert; spot clean if necessary.

About The Artist

I'm a freelance illustrator born and raised in Bologna, Italy. I've been working as freelance illustrator for clients worldwide including major publishers, advertisers, institutions and animation studios, such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Variety, Wired, Paramount Channel, The BBC, Greenpeace, Gatorade, Nike to mention a few. I love to combine digital and mixed media with textures of scanned found objects, trying to give my artworks a warm and evocative atmosphere. My work has been recognized by The Society of Illustrators of New York and Los Angeles, American Illustration, 3x3 Magazine, Communication Arts, Lürzer's Archive, Folio: Ozzie Award 2017, Bologna Children's Book Fair.
